Cat Boarding Near Tiong Bahru
8 minutes by car from Tiong Bahru Plaza, in a heritage shophouse on Kreta Ayer Road. Cat-only, suites, no shared rooms, no stacked carriers.
Why Tiong Bahru cat owners book here
Tiong Bahru sits a stone's throw from Chinatown, but the boarding options most often shown to local cat owners aren't local. They're in industrial parks in Bukit Merah, in mixed pet kennels in the west, in apartments where someone is also walking a Pomeranian. We're inside Chinatown itself, on Kreta Ayer Road, and the whole shophouse is for cats.
For most Tiong Bahru postcodes, that's an 8 to 12 minute drive. A walk for the determined. We see a steady stream of regulars from the area: owners who do the math on travel time, the apartment-block restrictions on dogs, and the specific anxiety of a cat in a stacked carrier.
Travel time and route
Tiong Bahru MRT
8 minutes by car
Off-peak. Add 5–10 minutes during weekday rush hour. Taxi or ride-hail typically SGD 8–12.
Tiong Bahru Plaza
9 minutes by car
Via Outram Road or Bukit Merah. Drop-off bay outside the shophouse on Kreta Ayer Road.
Tiong Bahru Estate (Eng Hoon St / Yong Siak St)
10–12 minutes by car
Eight-minute walk on a cool morning if you have a small carrier. Most clients prefer the ride for senior or vocal cats.
Henderson / Bukit Merah View
12 minutes by car
Slightly longer to skirt CTE, but consistent. We can arrange two-way pet transport if you'd rather not drive.
We also offer pet taxi at S$40 each way for up to 2 cats, booked with the suite. Bookings of 5+ nights include complimentary two-way pet taxi.

What's actually inside the shophouse
Two storeys, cat-only. The second level is check-in, the lobby and two villa suites. The third level holds most of the suites and villas: private, sunlit, with vertical space and a window each, and the play area sits up there too.
We don't board dogs. We don't board reptiles. The whole building is calibrated to feline pacing: sound, smell, lighting, foot traffic. Most Tiong Bahru cats settle by night two.
What Tiong Bahru cat owners care about
Short, predictable drive
Drop-off in 10 minutes, not 35. Fewer minutes in the carrier means less stress for the cat and a better start to the stay.
No shared rooms
Every booking is a private suite. No co-housing strangers. The thing some local boarders don't make obvious until check-in.
Cat-only building
No barking through the wall. No "small animal" wing. The cat hears other cats, and that's the point.
AVS licensed
AVS Pet Boarding Licence BD26004, publicly listed. AVS facility certificate AVS00145. Both numbers are searchable; we don't ask for trust.
24/7 webcam
Watch the cat from your sofa, your office, or the airport. The feed is on for the full stay, not a five-minute clip.
Same handlers, every visit
Regulars from the area know our team by name within two stays. We don't shuffle strangers in mid-shift.
Pricing
Suites range from SGD 60/night for a Classic to SGD 120/night for a Premium Villa. Day-to-day add-ons (extended interaction, video calls, transport) are listed separately. We don't roll soft costs into the headline.

About Charlotte and Kuro →Common questions from Tiong Bahru cat owners
Can I drop the cat off in the morning before work?
Our standard check-in is 3pm – 6pm. Early check-in from 11am is available for S$20; arrange it when you book.
What if I get held up at work and pickup runs late?
Standard check-out is 10am – 12pm. Late check-out to 6pm is available for S$20 with advance booking. If the day runs over, message us as early as you can.
Do you offer pet transport for Tiong Bahru?
Yes. Pet transport is S$40 one way for up to 2 cats from the same household. Bookings of 5+ nights include complimentary two-way transport. WhatsApp us to arrange it.
How does the booking compare to chains in industrial estates?
We're not the cheapest. We're cat-only, in a shophouse, with private suites and no co-housing. If price-per-night is the only axis, a chain in an industrial park will win. If your cat hates carriers, hates strangers, or has a medical condition, the difference is what you're paying for.
Do you have parking nearby for drop-off?
Street parking on Kreta Ayer Road is available but limited at weekends. Closest paid car park is People's Park Complex (3 min walk). Most clients use a 5-minute drop-off slot directly outside; we help carry carriers in.
