Preparing for Your Cat’s stay

  • For the safety of all cats boarding at Kuro Cat hotel, we comply strictly with AVS boarding requirements.

    • Vaccination

Your cat must be fully vaccinated, or have a valid vet memo certifying they are fit for boarding.

    • Sterilization

All guests 8 months of age or older (or showing signs of sexual maturity) must be sterilised.

    • Parasite Prevention

We require all cats to have received a current spot on treatment (for external and internal parasites) applied at check in or within the past 30 days. We can provide this treatment if needed.

    • FIV/FELV

For risk management reasons, we only allow FIV/FELV negative cats to access common play areas. Please share with us your cats FIV/FELV status.

    • Check In Physical Exam

Your cat must be healthy, free from injury, or any signs of illness (including fleas, ticks, and worms) upon arrival. We conduct a gentle physical assessment upon check in, and reserve the right to reject any cats that do not pass the assessment.

  • We try our best to accommodate your travel schedule. Our standard check-in is 3pm - 6pm, but we offer Concierge Early Check-in/Late Check-out (subject to availability) for a small fee so you don't have to rush to the airport.

Check out is between 10am-12pm. Late check out is available until 6pm with an advance booking.

    • Food

Consistency is key to a a cat’s wellbeing. Please provide enough of your cat's usual food (wet and/or dry) for the duration of the stay, plus an extra 10% buffer. We recommend packing food in sealed, airtight containers to preserve freshness.

    • Litter

We provide high quality, low dust tofu litter. If your cat requires other litter type, kindly inform us and pack it along.

    • Items from home

Bring a favorite blanket, bed, or a piece of your worn clothing. Items carrying a familiar scent work wonders to help your cat feel secure and settled in their new space.

If your cat requires specific grooming, please bring your own brush or tools for hygiene purposes.

Trust & Safety are our priority

  • Absolutely. We understand the separation anxiety owners feel. That’s why every suite comes with 24/7 private CCTV access directly on your phone. You can check in on your little one anytime, anywhere in the world, for complete peace of mind.

  • Absolutely not! Cats from each household will have their own private suite and take turns to play in the common area. We conduct regular disinfections of the common area as well. This is for risk mitigation and hygiene purposes.

  • We welcome cats requiring medication, special diets, or extra monitoring. During booking, you'll complete a detailed health form and we'll discuss your cat's specific needs.

  • Our staff is trained to recognize signs of illness and we have partnerships with local veterinary clinics for any emergencies. We'll contact you immediately if any health concerns arise. Minor issues like hairballs or mild stomach upset are handled in-house at no extra charge.

  • We don't believe in 'solitary confinement.' Every guest receives a minimum of two interactive play/cuddle sessions daily. For shy cats, we use Feliway pheromones and gentle, hands-off company until they trust us.

  • Cancellations made within 14 days prior to check in will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee. The balance of the prepaid amount will be converted into hotel credit for future bookings. All hotel credits are non-refundable.
