“TLDR: our cat probably stayed at a nicer hotel than we did on our travels! As with most families, our cat is definitely our fur-kid and a worry whenever we travel. Historically, we would house him with friends/family since we could trust them but now that there is Kuro Cat Hotel to trust, we could easily go on our holiday without worrying about our baby. The hotel is so spacious and clean with loads of natural light and some suites with views if that's what your cat enjoys! We were also so impressed with the frequent updates via pictures, videos and even a CCTV in his personal room (that's how transparent they are with us!). We had a brief tour of the space when we checked him in and I was very impressed by the team really taking care of details like hiding spaces, the variety of toys/equipment to cater to different cat personalities and even dietary requirements. They even offer transport services so we didn't have to rush to cater to our flight timings. Clearly, Graeme enjoyed his holiday where he got to sit under palm trees and enjoy head messages from the team. I'm Charlotte. Ten years ago I was chosen by my own cat, Kuro, a young void off the streets, and I built this place around what would have kept him calm on his first night away from me.
That's why the shophouse is laid out the way it is: double-door entries so no cat can bolt for the corridor, soft lighting instead of anything harsh, and private suites so your cat never has to size up a stranger through the bars.

Questions anxious owners ask us
Is boarding actually safe for an anxious cat?
For the great majority of cats, yes, when the environment is built for it: a private suite with no shared spaces, Fear Free handling that never forces contact, and a quiet cat-only building. A small number of cats do better at home with a sitter, and I'll tell you if yours seems like one of them.
What vaccinations or checks does my cat need?
Your cat needs to be fully vaccinated, or have a vet memo certifying they're fit for boarding, sterilised if they're six months or older, and treated for parasites within the past 30 days. They also need to arrive healthy, with no signs of illness.
What's actually included in the nightly rate?
A private suite, free 24/7 camera access, a daily one-on-one interactive session, and a Fear Free trained team through the day. Suites start from SGD 60 a night. Medication, grooming, and pet taxi are add-ons if you need them.
Can I really watch my cat live, or is it just photos?
Live. Every suite has its own camera you control, so you can open a live feed anytime during the stay. We're one of the few cat hotels in Singapore that includes this at no extra charge.
